Otero Fall Sports Home Games: The Stage is Set for Exciting Semi-Final and End-of-Season Showdowns on Oct. 27 and 28

As the fall sports season winds down, Otero Athletics is gearing up for an action-packed winter. This weekend presents a final opportunity for fans to catch some thrilling fall Rattler sports and show support for the hardworking athletes.

Women’s Soccer: On Friday, October 27, at 2 p.m., the Otero College Women’s Soccer team will take on Casper College in the semi-final of the Region 9 Tournament at Casper, Wyo. The victorious team will then vie against the highest seed on November 4, 2023 in the finals.

Volleyball: The Otero Volleyball team will be hosting Northeastern Junior College for a match on Friday, October 27, at 6 p.m. This event will take place at home in the McDivitt Center Gym. On Saturday, October 28, at 12 noon, the team will compete against Western Nebraska Community College for the last game of the season. During this match, the Lady Rattlers will honor their sophomore players. We encourage spectators to come and cheer them on!

Men’s Soccer: On Saturday, October 28, at 4 p.m., the Otero Men’s Soccer team will host Western Nebraska Community College at Tiger Stadium in La Junta. This much-anticipated semi-final game of the Region 9 Tournament promises for an exhilarating matchup. The winner of this game will advance to the final round of the tournament on November 4, facing the highest seed. Currently ranked as the #1 seed, Otero Men’s Soccer has had a remarkable season and welcomes a strong showing from the community to cheer them to the finals.
