HSI Fest

Immerse yourself in an evening of cultural richness as we celebrate Hispanic heritage through a delightful array of activities. Indulge your taste buds with mouthwatering Mexican delights from food truck vendors, and proudly display your Otero team spirit with creative face painting. The air will be alive with the enchanting melodies of a live mariachi band from 4pm – 5pm, adding an authentic musical backdrop to the festivities.

Food Trucks include:

• Boss Dawgs
• La Familia
• Sweet Like Honey Bakery

There will be a half-time kids game during the men’s game, around 7:00 pm

Salsa Contest – $5 to enter

• Anyone can enter
• Must have 1 qt. prepared
• Salsa must be there by 5 pm
• Overall winner receives custom salsa wreath
• People’s Choice receives Otero swag basket.
• All funds go towards scholarships

There will be pinatas and flags for the first 100 attendees.

This event is for the public. Community, staff, faculty, students are all encouraged to attend.
